WHO WE ARE
The Fire Brigade of Volunteers N. Voutzas (PYSETH) started its activity in 2007 and is duly recognized by the General Secretariat for Civil Protection with the no. 64/2008 decision and certified by the Fire Department.
Its leaders have been trained at the Fire Academy in Salzburg, Austria.
In addition to the Medical Certification, the PY.S.ETH. has the approval from SEGAS for the provision of First Aid in the Marathon and Half Marathon roads, the last 7 years and the 4 medical stations of the Marathon at the starting point, at the 5th, 10th and 15th km.
The Fire Brigade of Volunteers N. Voutzas (PYSETH) has organized to date 8 Panhellenic Forest Firefighting Exercises - Mountain Rescue - Traffic Rescue and Earthquake Rescue, with the cooperation of P.Y. N. Makris, without financial burden of the participating volunteers, while it has material coming entirely from donations and the following privately owned firefighting equipment:

The strength of our volunteer staff amounts to about 50 people and 4 doctors.
The ΠΥ.Σ.ΕΘ. participates in the 2-day event "ATI ENS FLYING WEEK " from 2015 until today with the participation of its volunteers and at least three Firefighting Vehicles.
The volunteers of the Station have successfully attended the 100-hour seminar cycle of the program Lifelong Learning, University of Athens, "I Protect Myself and Others".
The volunteers of the Station started gradually and pass every 6 months the training of KOMAK, from 2014 until today, for rescue from earthquakes, under the auspices of the Air Force. A total of 16 people have been trained.
The Fire Brigade of Volunteers of Neos Voutzas (PYSETH) has contributed since 2010 to more than 86 fires, as there are countless patrols-trainings-parades, we also help in cases of assistance to the Municipality of Marathon and neighboring municipalities .
The Fire Brigade of Volunteers N. Voutzas is in close cooperation with the Association of Pentelikos SPAP in all the tree plantations of Mount Pentelik.
We also have an active participation in the coverage of the Panhellenic Motorcycle Championship throughout Attica in collaboration with Pro Action from 2016 until today.
Finally, the Fire Brigade of N. Voutza Volunteers took part in the operation of the Civil Protection service in the recent catastrophic fires in the summer of 2018 in Mati - N. Voutza - Rafina - Provalinthos which resulted in the death of 103 of our fellow human beings.
